How we are sustainable
At Not to Die For* we want to be as transparent as possible
with our efforts to be sustainable.
We’re always trying our best to find products
that don’t harm the planet and different ways to avoid useless waste.
*
Packaging
We use minimal packaging, and only when needed (for example, our bamboo cotton swabs). We also ask our partners not to send us products with any unnecessary packaging. Our soaps come in reusable cloth bags and our solid shampoos and conditioners have reusable metal cases.
Shipping
Reusing is the main way to avoid wasting anything, which is why —when possible— we reuse old shipping boxes for our Ntdf.* shipments. Our gift boxes, paper, and packing materials are also 100% recyclable.
For certain products, when you make a purchase on our website, we place an order directly with the producer or trusted retailer who ships the item straight to your door. This method reduces unnecessary transportation and packaging, significantly lowering our carbon footprint. By cutting out the middleman, we can offer a more eco-conscious shopping experience.
Refills and Bundles
When possible, we always try to offer refills for our products, to cut down on plastic waste. We also offer product bundles, so our clients can make the best of their purchase by buying in bulk, avoiding more than one shipment (and reducing our carbon footprint).
Ingredients and Materials
It’s essential for us to sell products that protect the environment and are sustainable. All our products have natural ingredients, and you won’t find any palm oil, oxybenzone, or any other components that can be harmful to the environment. We also carry many bamboo products, encouraging our clients to switch to more renewable materials.
